Stella will be running the Great North London and the London 10K to raise money for the RSPB.

Due to Ben's success at Venturefest being the most visited speaker at the exhibition he will be the MC at the National Community Safety Conference. The conference takes place on the 4th and 5th June at The Brittania Adelphi Hotel. The event is aimed at all those who work within the field of Safer Communities. The programme has been developed by a multi-agency group, which looked at the latest policies and thinking, on a range of cross cutting issues. For the first time both members and non members of the National Community Safety Network have been invited to contribute to the content of the Conference.

Ben will be speaking on the Midmorning Show with Gareth Evans on BBC Radio Sheffield. Ben will be on the show on Friday 2nd May at 10 am and will be bringing his own brand of motivation to the Sheffield listeners. To listen tune your radio to 88.6 fm.

I really had a great time at last weeks Academy and for me it was the best so far! It's interesting because I had already decided to outsource telesales to a local company but after some of the experiences of others it has made me a little nervous. I am going to have a meeting with them tomorrow and thanks to that evening feel slightly better prepared! I would like to take you up on your offer and perhaps come and visit you when I get back from Crete in early May with a view to spending a few hours getting some training on the do's and don'ts of scripts and telesales. Perhaps then I will be able to use someone else to take up some of strain and provide me with leads/appointments. I have 'almost' finalised our new branding with Creative Buzz and then the next challenge for me is the content of the web site! Thanks once again for all your help.......... Last month I was asked to attend a free networking event called the Friday Business Club organised by Corkscrew Events. I had a particularly busy week so I only had time to attend one seminar which was an hour on Sales given by Ben Kench of The Business Booster. Now I must admit I’ve always been a bit skeptical on business and life coaches, but I was rather impressed by what Ben had to say and the short video he showed us on teamwork from Saatchi and Saatchi.

I came on the course to develop. I had a direction that I wanted to go in but couldn't see it clearly. I knew something was wrong but couldn't see how to make it better. The course was good, practical and clear. There are things that you can do. The crux is you have to do them but Ben laid it bare and made it very clear that there are practical steps that you can carry out and they will help and that for me is very practical and makes sense. The thing that sticks out for me is one of the stories that Ben told made it very clear and I saw it clearly in my head. That for me is very important. I was hooked before i got here I knew it was going to work. I didn't know how but now I know it is going to work. I would recommend the course because I trust the guarantee, trust the method and there is good methodology. It makes sense and I think that it would appeal to any kind of business.

The course was absolutely excellent. Being a very small company I have a lot of things to do and really the gold that comes from this system that Ben has is providing focus and introducing awareness which is very hard to do when you are a small company. He allows you to formulate and consolidate your ideas and outcomes. I will be confident enough to set up and revise the systems in place in my business. The thing that I will take away is a rest from my business. I have had a temporary disconnection and that has given me clarity. If you are thinking of coming on this course it is money well invested, you will get something out of it whatever you want to do, If you want to carry on with the Academy that is entirely upto you, I think that there is justification for continuing.
